CAMDEN, N.J. (10/7/23) – A goal in each half lifted Rutgers-Camden (6-5-1, 2-2 NJAC) to a 2-0 victory over the Kean University women's soccer team (3-7-1, 0-3-1 NJAC) on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Wing made three saves over the first 20 minutes before Camden broke through with a Maresa Savarese goal in the 24^th minute.
• The Cougars only attempted one shot in the first half.
• The Scarlet Raptors added an insurance goal when Amy Maurer converted on a penalty kick in the 58^th minute.  

INSIDE THE BOX

• Sophia Lang totaled four shots.
• Sonya Brewer and Kaydence Oakley notched two shots apiece.
• Abigail Wing made five saves.
• Camden led on shots (11-6), shots on goal (7-2) and corners (6-1).
