UNION, N.J. (11/29/23) -  Phil Brown Jr. finished with 12 points, six rebounds and three assists as the Kean University men's basketball team (2-3, 1-1 NJAC) dropped their New Jersey Athletic Conference home opener to Ramapo College (6-1, 2-0 NJAC) on Wednesday evening.\

HOW IT HAPPENED!

• The first half was a back and forth affair with neither side holding larger than a seven point lead.
• The Cougars cut the lead down to two points with less than five minutes to play on layups from Mario Gunn and Brown Jr.
• Ramapo closed the half and broke the game wide open with a 12-3 run to hold a 41-29 advantage at the half.
• The Roadrunners maintained the double-digit halftime cushion throughout the second half and extended their lead to at least 19 points.

INSIDE THE BOX
