UNION, N.J. (12/11/23) – Ethan Stith came in off the bench to finish with 18 points and six assists as the Kean University men's basketball team (6-3) won their fourth straight contest with a 90-72 victory over Brooklyn College (1-11) on Monday evening.  

HOW IT HAPPENED!

• After a back and forth opening 12 minutes, the Cougars maintained a slight 20-18 lead with just over eight minutes to play.
• The Cougars closed out the half on a 22-14 run, including five points from Steph Flores, Stith and Christian Garcia.
• Garcia also notched five rebounds during the run.
• Brooklyn shot 5-for-16 over the final eight minutes.
• The Cougars scored 24 points in the paint, including 16 fast break points.
• The second half proved to be more of the same as the Bulldogs couldn't get the lead down to single digits and the Cougars extended their advantage at least to 20.
• Stith posted 13 of his 18 points in the second stanza.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Brandon Upshaw totaled 14 points and six assists.
• Tyler Spencer totaled 13 points and five rebounds.
• JD Daniels collected 10 points.
• Garcia totaled a career-high nine points and a career-high 12 rebounds.
