UNION, N.J. (2/1/23) – Heem Burno finished with 18 points, four steals and three rebounds for the Kean University Men's Basketball team who earned an 80-76 New Jersey Athletic Conference victory over the College of New Jersey on Wednesday evening.
Jailen Jamison totaled 18 points for the Cougars who improve to 16-5 overall and 9-5 in the NJAC. Pat Higgins tallied 17 points for the Lions who fall to 7-14 overall and 6-8 in the NJAC.
First Half
- Kean led 43-28 at halftime.
- The Cougars shot 53.1% compared to 44.0% for the Lions.
- TCNJ posted a 28.6% three-point percentage on 4-for-17 shooting.
- Kean opened on a 14-4 run and extended their lead to 30-13 with 6:28 remaining.
