UNION, N.J. (2/10/23) – The Kean University eSports team competed in multiple events this past week.
Last Friday, Kean earned a forfeit victory over Cal-Poly Pomona in League of Legends action.
On Monday, the Cougars earned a forfeit victory over Ohio Northern University in Rainbow Six action, while Kean (
Joe Paul Mong'are) defeated the University at Albany in FIFA 23 action.
The Cougars also fell to St. John's University, 2-0 and Fisher College, 2-0 in Super Smash Bros action.
On Tuesday, Kean (
Nikita Rozumnyi,
Armando Ramirez,
Jennifer Martins,
John Etrata and
Kenneth Mack), defeated Nicholls State University, 2-1 in Valorant action, while the Cougars (
Zaree Neal) swept the University at Albany, 2-0 in NBA2K23 action.
On Wednesday, Kean (
Jhordy Jaramillo,
Chelsea Pelley,
Danny Gavino,
Jerry Howard and
Joel Aguilar) swept the University of South Florida, 3-0 in Overwatch 2 action.
In Rocket League action, RL Blue (
Justin Peters,
Jacob Ullman, and
John Stalteri) defeated Mount St. Mary's, 4-2, while RL White fell to Fanshawe College, 4-1.
On Thursday, the Cougars (
Yahir Castelan-Flores) earned a forfeit victory over Emmanuel College.
