UNION, N.J. (2/15/23) – Letrell West finished with a game-high 28 points as the Kean University men's basketball team defeated Stockton University, 93-84 on Senior Night.

JD Daniels totaled 20 points for the Cougars who finish the regular season at 18-7 overall and 11-7 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Kadian Dawkins notched 19 points for the Ospreys who finish the regular season at 21-4 overall and 15-3 in the NJAC.

First Half

• Kean led 51-43 at halftime.
• The Cougars shot 54.3% from the floor and 61.5% from downtown.
• The Ospreys posted a 53.1% field goal percentage and a 53.8% three-point percentage.
• There were eight ties and three lead changes.
• Neither side held larger than a five-point lead over the first 10 minutes.
• After trading buckets, Kean closed on a 17-8 run that included a Daniels triple as time expired.
• The Cougars outscored Stockton 14-3 on fast break points.
• West totaled 17 points, including four triples.
• Daniels tallied 12 points, including two from downtown.
• Dawkins notched 15 points for the Ospreys.

Second Half

• Kean outscored Stockton, 42-41.
• The Cougars shot 44.4% from the floor and 54.5% from downtown.
• The Ospreys posted a 37.5% field goal percentage and a 27.8% three-point percentage.
• Stockton opened on a 13-9 run to erase the Cougars halftime lead.
• After trading runs and buckets, the Cougars put together a 14-4 run over 5:28 to extended their lead from 72-70 to 86-72.
• The Ospreys were able to get the final score inside double-digits with two triples in the final two minutes.
• Stockton had the advantage in fast break points, 15-6.
• West collected 11 points.
• DJ Campbell tallied 10.
