Union, N.J. (4/22/23) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team fell to Rowan University by the final of 23-5 on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Profs (11-4) used a balanced scoring attack, registering six goals in the first quarter and nine in the second.
Amanda Brzoska notched two first half goals as the Cougars (3-10) trailed 15-3 at halftime.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Kylie Giordano tallied a hat-trick with five draw controls.
Grace Michielli totaled four draw controls, two groundballs, one caused turnover and one assist.
Shannon Palen,
Jenn Koval, and
Julia Siter all notched two groundballs apiece.
Nicole Peters made nine saves.
