ITHACA, N.Y. (9/1/23) – Jorja Hibschman scored two times as the #17 Kean University field hockey team (1-0) blanked Ithaca College, (0-1) 3-0 in their season opener on Friday afternoon.

• Peyton Mann tallied her first goal of the season when she converted off a save in the 21^st minute.
• Kean maintained a slim 8-7 lead on shots at halftime.
• Hibschman notched two goals in the second half.
• The senior scored her first goal off a Mann corner insert in the 43^rd minute.
• The other goal came in the 56^th minute off a blocked shot.

• Madison Brege, Morgan Stump and Kelsey Corbett all tallied two shots apiece.
