PURCHASE, N.Y. (9/3/23) – Donte East scored a goal as the Kean University men's soccer team (1-0-1) played to a 1-1 draw with Manhattanville College (0-0-2) on Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened

• East scored on the Cougars first shot on frame of the contest.
• David Garcia played a thru ball to East, who beat the keeper one-on-one for the 1-0 lead in the 40^th minute.
• The Valiants found the equalizer late when Sebastian Testa converted on a penalty kick in 90^th minute after a foul in the box.
• 10 cards were issued, including seven yellows and three reds.

• Sadeiki Roberts notched four shots.
• Garcia, East, Kelvin Gyamfi, Nico Ibanez and Sekou Soumahoro all tallied two shots apiece.
