UNION, N.J. (9/6/23) – Anabel Makutonin notched two goals, including the game-winner in the 88^th minute to lift the Kean University women's soccer team (1-2) to their first victory of the season with a 2-1 decision over FDU-Florham (2-1) on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Makutonin notched her first goal in the 32^nd minute after taking a quick pass from Kaydence Oakley and scoring on the far post.
• FDU found the equalizer in the 57^th minute as Madison Kleinwaks scored on a defense miscue.
• The Cougars would tally the game-winner in the 88^th minute when Makutonin dribbled through three defenders and beat the keeper high.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Sonya Brewer and Makutonin both tallied four shots apiece.
