UNION, N.J. (1/31/24) – Luke Frankenfield notched a double-double with 13 assists, 12 digs and nine kills as the Kean University men's volleyball team earned a 3-0 straight sets sweep of Arcadia University on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Chris Mitchell tallied three kills as the Cougars put together a 9-3 mid set run to capture the opening set, 25-19.
• Kean hit .216 in a set two victory behind a combined 10 kills from Frankenfield, Mitchell and Danny Pugliano.
• The Cougars held a three-point lead throughout and stretched it to five at 21-16 behind back-to-back attack errors from the Knights.
• The final set proved to be a back and forth affair with 17 ties and 10 lead changes.
• Mitchell and Frankenfield combined for six kills as the Cougars were lucky enough to hang on for the victory in extra play.

• Mitchell totaled seven kills and five digs.
• Ryan DiCandilo posted six kills and seven block assists.
• Jack Freese notched four kills and four block assists.
