UNION, N.J. (10/16/24) – Two second half goals lifted the Kean University women's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout victory over Rutgers-Newark in New Jersey Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening.

• Katelyn Greiner converted a penalty kick in the 74^th minute after Seoane Oaxaca was called for a handball in the box.
• Ella Petrosh notched an insurance goal with two seconds remaining.
• Rachel Nixon's long throw in allowed the rookie to beat the keeper one-on-one.
