Women’s Soccer Blanks Ramapo on Homecoming

UNION, N.J. (10/5/24) – A goal in each half lifted the Kean University women's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout victory over Ramapo College on Homecoming.

  • Mariaelena Torres put the Cougars on the board in the 13th minute after a Sonya Brewer through ball allowed the striker to beat a defender and score one-on-one.
  • The Cougars added an insurance goal in the 68th after Courtney Irwin scored on a strike from 15 yards out.
