PITMAN, N.J. (11/14/24) – The Kean University women's volleyball team tallied four Cougars on the NJAC All-Conference teams.
Cayley Elena Morrison and
Anne Marie Beckemeyer were both named to the first team, while
Aspen O'Brien was selected to the second team and
Taylor Micheaux was an honorable mention selection.
Morrison earns her second straight All-NJAC selection with a first team selection. She tallied 83 points, 75 kills, and 14 blocks over seven conference matches. The middle hitter averaged 3.46 points per set, 3.13 kills per set and 0.58 blocks per set with a .324 hitting percentage. In the NJAC, she ranked second in hitting percentage, seventh in kills and eighth in points. Morrison becomes Head Coach
Don Perkins 16th first team selection.
Beckemeyer earns her third All-NJAC selection with her second first team selection. She tallied 83.5 points, 58 kills, and 21 blocks over five conference matches. The middle hitter averaged 4.39 points per set, 3.05 kills per set and 1.11 blocks per set. In the NJAC, she ranked second in blocks, and eighth in kills. Beckemeyer is Coach Perkins' 17th first team selection.
O'Brien earns her second straight All-NJAC selection with back-to-back second team selections. She tallied 276 assists, 37 digs and 16 aces over eight conference matches. The setter averaged 9.86 assists per set, 1.32 digs per set and 0.57 aces per set. In the NJAC, she ranked third in assists. O'Brien is Coach Perkins 13th second team selection.
Micheaux earns her second All-NJAC selection with her second honorable mention selection. She tallied 69.0 points and 66 kills over eight conference matches. The outside hitter averaged 2.56 points per set and 2.44 kills per set. In the NJAC, she ranked second in blocks, and eighth in kills. Micheaux is Coach Perkins' 17th honorable mention selection.
