UNION, N.J. (3/2/24) – Anthony Porter finished with two assists, including notching his 100
th for his career as the Kean University men's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest to Salve Regina University, 13-10 on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED!
- Anton Updale scored twice as the Cougars tallied three unanswered in the first.
- The Seahawks responded with eight straight in the second for an 8-3 halftime advantage.
- Nick Thorne and Dylan Johnson both scored twice in the third, which cut the SLU lead to 10-8 entering the fourth.
- Porter 100th assist came on the second goal of the third when the grad student found Thorne for his first goal of the afternoon.
- The Seahawks scored three of the final four goals as Kean couldn't get lead inside three goals.
