UNION, N.J. (3/27/24) – Kylie Giordano totaled seven points on four goals and three assists as the Kean University women's lacrosse team used a five goal fourth quarter rally to defeat Arcadia University, 15-14 on Wednesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED!
- Arcadia jumped out to a 4-1 lead behind two goals from Morganne Dee.
- Savannah Olsson scored twice as the Cougars tallied three of the final four goals of the first quarter and cut the advantage to 5-4.
- Kean outscored the Knights in the second quarter, including two goals from Giordano as the Cougars were deadlocked at 9-9.
- Skyler Ray scored the lone goal of the third as Arcadia posted back-to-back goals late to hold a 12-10 advantage into the fourth.
- After surrendering two goals to open the final stanza, Kean closed out the game with five straight including the equalizer and game-winner from Giordano.
