UNION, N.J. (3/5/24) – Jack Freese totaled 14 kills as the Kean University men's volleyball team earned a 3-0 straight sets sweep of Eastern University in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

·        Freese was perfect in the opening set, notching five kills on five swings.

·        Freese notched one of the final two points in a first set that saw 13 ties and five lead changes.

·        Freese and Aidan Flinn combined for eight kills as Kean closed on a 10-5 run.

·        Luke Frankenfield and Freese combined for 10 kills as the Cougars rallied from a five-point deficit to capture set three.

INSIDE THE BOX

·        Frankenfield posted 18 assists, nine kills, and seven digs.

·        Chris Mitchell recorded seven kills and five digs.

·        Brandon Millias totaled 20 assists.

·        Tyler Quinn collected nine digs.
