UNION, N.J. (4/18/24) – Nicole Peters recorded 17 saves as the Kean University women's lacrosse team snapped a three game losing streak with a 9-5 non-conference victory over Western New England University on Thursday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
- After falling behind 2-0 in the first, Kean responded with five of the next six goals to hold a 5-3 advantage at halftime.
- Savannah Olsson, Skyler Ray, Lauren Pluta, Sam Murri and Shannon Palen each tallied a goal in the first half.
- The Cougars notched two goals apiece in the third and fourth quarters.
- Murri, Ray and Palen all added a second goal as Kean held WNE to just two scores in the second stanza.

- Kylie Giordano totaled four points, while Ray posted three.
- Olsson, Palen and Murri all notched two points apiece.
