Union, N.J. (4/5/24) – The Kean University women's tennis team dropped their first match of the year by a close 5-4 margin to Rutgers-Camden.

Rutgers-Camden (5-3, 1-1 NJAC) won the odd numbered doubles matchups (first and third) with Kean winning second doubles.

The Cougars and Scarlet Raptors each won three singles competitions with the same theme as Kean won the even matchups (second, fourth and sixth) and Rutgers-Camden the odd (first, third and fifth).

Kean will host Trinity Washington University on Saturday.
