SALISBURY, Md. (5/1/24) – Nick Paterno made 15 saves as the fourth seeded Kean University men's lacrosse team bowed out of the Coastal Lacrosse Conference Tournament with a 25-5 semifinal loss to #1 and top seeded Salisbury University on Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
- Paterno made 11 saves as the Sea Gulls posted eight goals in the opening stanza.
- Dylan Johnson, Nick Thorne and Jacob Dvoor all tallied a second quarter goal for the Cougars who trailed 8-3 at halftime.
- Salisbury opened the second half with eight straight goals to extend their advantage to double-digit at 16-3 entering the fourth.
- Thorne notched his second goal of the afternoon with a score in the fourth.
