OWINGS MILLS, Md. (5/10/24) – The track & field teams both recorded top 10 finishes at the ECAC Track and Field Championships hosted by Stevenson University on Friday. The men's team placed third with 86 points, while the women's team posted a seventh place finish with 43 points.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• William Mitchell captured an individual championship with a first place victory in the 5000 m (15:53.71).
• Ayo Adejumo placed second in the Discus Throw (36.62m).
• Eldon Reynoso placed second in the 1500m (4:49.96).
• Syncere Simon took second in the High Jump (1.88m).
• Thomas Johnson placed third in the Long Jump (5.99m).
• Simon along with Bakari Wiltshire, Jeremy Chocoj and Semaj Jeremiah Dastinot took third in the 4x100 Relay (46.52).
• Prince Holster, Corey Rodriguez, Elliot Whitney and Josiah Springer notched a third place finish in the 4x400 Relay (3:39.82).

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Sarah Knoetig placed third in the 400m (1.03.33).
• Knoetig, Shukuran Adewole, Ari Singleton and Breanne Hoyte captured third in the 4x400 Relay (4:57.63).
• Ruby Crowell took fourth in the Javelin Throw (24.73m).
