FDU-Florham Pushes Past Men’s Soccer in Drew Fall Festival Championship Game

MADISON, N.J. (9/1/24) – Marvin Munoz Garcia Jr. notched the lone goal as the Kean University men's soccer team fell to FDU-Florham, 5-1 in the championship game of the Drew Fall Festival on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • FDU scored three times in the opening stanza, including two in the final 10 minutes.
  • The first half saw 10 total cards, including four reds between both squads.
  • After the red cards were sorted out, Kean played nine on 10 for the rest of the game.
  • The Cougars finally broke through in the second half when Munoz Garcia Jr converted on a penalty kick in the 52nd minute.
  • The Devils added two insurance goals in the second half.
