UNION, N.J. (9/18/24) – Tyler Manteiro notched his first career goal as the Kean University men's soccer team played to a 1–1 draw with Widener University on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The Pride struck first with a double assisted goal during a corner situation in the 26^th minute.
• Kean found the equalizer in the 39^th minute when Manteiro scored on a Goncalo Seixas through ball.
• Seixas played a ball over the top to the rookie, who took two touches and beat the keeper at the far post.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Widener led on shots (12-7) and corner kicks (7-7).
• Both squads were even in shots on goal (4-4).
• Andy Mayorga recorded two shots.
