UNION. N.J. (9/23/24) – A penalty kick goal in the 69^th minute lifted Alvernia University to a 1-0 victory over the Kean University women's soccer team in the Go4theGoal game on Monday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The Cougars peppered 14 shots in the opening stanza but couldn't break through entering halftime.
• Alvernia converted on a Kayln Keen penalty kick after Macy McDonough was fouled in the box by Rebecca Zahner.
• The graduate student beat Abigail Wing with a blast on the left side.

• Kaydence Oakley totaled four shots.
