PITMAN, N.J. (9/30/24) – Sam Gonzalez has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.

Gonzalez earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for her performance at the Caldwell Chase Invitational. She was the top Kean finisher, placing sixth overall out of 37 runners with a 5K time of 23:16.5. She headlined a group of three Kean runners that finished within the top 10 to help the Cougars place second in the team standings.

The women's team returns to the course on Saturday at the PSU-Brandywine Invitational.
