USMMA Pushes Past Men’s Soccer

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (9/7/24) – Four straight goals lifted USMMA to a 4-1 victory over the Kean University men's soccer team on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • Kean struck first when Alejandro Venereo scored on a Kwaku Owusu redirected pass in the six minute.
  • Venereo blasted a shot from 25 yards out into the top right corner.
  • USMMA equalized the match in the 17th minute as a loose ball in the box was blasted home.
  • The Mariners pulled away with three straight goals in the second half.
INSIDE THE BOX
  • USMMA held the edge on shots (13-8), shots on goal (8-5) and corner kicks (6-3).
  • David Esteban Camargo and Venereo took two shots apiece.
