Salisbury, Md. (10/11/25) – The Kean University football team kept things close but ultimately fell to #5 Salisbury University, 38-24, in NJAC action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Kean (1-4, 0-2 NJAC) took the first lead of the day, scoring on their first drive. Jaylen Gundy capped off the drive with a 19-yard reception.

Salisbury went ahead 14-7 early in the second quarter on a five-yard run up the middle.

Trailing 21-7 later in the same quarter, the Cougars pulled the deficit to one score as Rocco Pellegrini found Gundy again, this time on a 38-yard strike.

The Sea Gulls scored on their first possession of the second half to pull ahead, 28-14.
