Field Hockey Rolls Past Immaculata

IMMACULATA, Pa. (10/2/25) - Shannon Conroy tallied a goal and assist as the Kean University Field Hockey team rolled to a 6-1 victory over the Immaculata University Mighty Macs in non-conference action on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

  • After surrendering a goal early, the Cougars responded with three straight goals to end the first quarter. 
  • Conroy assisted on a Sophia Candeloro goal in the sixth minute and answered with a score of her own in the 11th minute.
  • Madison Brege capped off the scoring in the opening quarter.
  • Emmah Devlin and Joslin Cain added goals in the second quarter for a commanding 5-1 advantage at the break.
  • The Cougars added one more in the fourth when Danni Sparacio notched her first goal as a Cougar in the 46 minute 

INSIDE THE BOX

  • The Cougars led on shots (18-7), shots on goal (12-4) and corners (6-3).
  • Conroy recorded five shots.
  • Daniella Maresca and Saraya Nelson combined for two saves.
