Camden, N.J. (10/2/25) – The Kean University women's volleyball team improved to 2-0 in the NJAC with a straight set victory over host Rutgers-Camden on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Trailing early, the Cougars (15-2, 2-0 NJAC) used a 6-0 run to take a lead they would not relinquish to go ahead 1-0.
It was the Cougars' turn to take an early lead in the second frame, but the Scarlet Raptors rallied back, taking a 16-15 lead and forcing a back-and-forth battle that required extras. Tied at 24-all, a kill from Bella Stem and a block from Cayley Elena Morrison and Alison Kowalewski sealed the set.
Kean cruised through the final set to secure the straight set win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Rookie Ashley Torok led all players with 14 kills. Morrison finished with 11 kills while hitting .688, adding six total blocks.
Madeline Dohogne recorded nine digs and four aces while Aspen O'Brien registered 36 assists.
