Haverford, Pa. (10/25/25) – The Kean University women's volleyball team improved to 22-5 with straight set wins over Dickinson College and Haverford College on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.
Kean 3, Dickinson 0 (25-15, 25-19, 26-24)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Tied at 10-all in the opening set, the Cougars scored seven of the game's next eight points to push out to a comfortable margin and eventually a 1-0 lead.
After dropping the first point of the second set, the Cougars took the lead back for good with a 7-1 run. Kean took advantage of four attack errors by the Red Devils.
Trailing 23-18 in the third set, the Cougars battled back and tied things up at 24-all on a kill from Cayley Elena Morrison. Back-to-back kills from Victoria Latino completed the third set comeback and helped to give Kean the opening win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Morrison led all players with 17 kills while hitting .583. She added five blocks.
Aubre Adams hit a staggering .818 with nine kills on 11 swings, adding two aces.
Latino matched Adams in kills and committed no errors.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
After dropping the first two points in the nightcap, the Cougars pushed out to a 7-3 lead never trailed to earn the first set win.
The Fords took an early 12-4 lead in the second, but Kean chipped away quickly scoring 10 of the next 11 points to take the lead. The teams traded points down the stretch before a kill from rookie Ashley Torok gave Kean the advantage in extras (26-25). A bad set from Haverford gave Kean a 2-0 lead.
After trading points early in what would be the final set, Kean cruised, pushing out to an 11-4 advantage on their way to a sweep of the day.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Torok had a team-high 13 kills while hitting .500 and while finishing with a double-double (13 digs).
Morrison contributed with nine kills and Madeline Dohogne and Annabelle Valencia combined for 27 digs and four aces.
