Women’s Soccer Plays to 1-1 Draw with Stockton in Season Finale

UNION, N.J. (10/29/25) – Mariaelena Torres notched the lone goal as the Kean University women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the Stockton University Ospreys in their season finale on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • After a scoreless first half, the Ospreys broke through on a Bella Bednarz shot from 25 yards out, which was mishandled by the keeper at the goal line.
  • Kean answered in the 75th minute as Ella Petrosh connected with the senior just inside the box.
  • In the 83rd minute, Bednarz would get sent off for time wasting during a free kick.
  • Despite the advantage, Kean couldn't find the game-winner.
