UNION, N.J. (2/1/25) – Four players scored in double-figures as the Kean University men's basketball team earned a 90-75 wire-to-wire victory over New Jersey City University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• After trading buckets to start, the Cougars hit double-digits early with a 21-8 run.
• D.J. Alicea notched 14 points during the run as Kean held a 27-12 lead with nine minutes remaining.
• Adam Silas scored nine points as Kean extended their lead to the largest of the game at 47-20, behind a 22-8 run.
• NJCU closed the opening stanza on a 16-8 run to get some points back before halftime.
• The second half saw more of the same as NJCU couldn't get the deficit inside single digits.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Alicea finished with 26 points.
• Justin Morton notched 18 points.
• Silas posted 18 points.
• Trey Harts collected 14 points and 13 rebounds.
• Phil Brown Jr. grabbed 12 boards.

• Alicea reached his 1000^th NCAA point in today's contest. The senior scored 109 points at Division II Georgian Court University and currently has amassed 909 points at Kean.
