Track & Field Competes in Night at the Races; Wins Six Events

NEW YORK, N.Y. (2/17/25) – The Cougars captured six events as the men's and women's track and field teams competed in Night at the Races hosted by the NY Road Runners at the Armory on Monday evening.

Event Highlights
  • Jeremy Chocoj placed first in the Men's 60m seeded event with a time of 7.88.
  • Gavin Hall placed first in both the Mixed 60m and the Mixed 60 Male events with a time of 7.49
  • Buddha Payne recorded a first place in both the Mixed Shot Put and the Mixed Shot Put (Male) events with a distance of 12.44m.
  • John Tan, Mohamed Gadalla, Hall, Skylar Barketey and Jennah Attia all placed among the top 10 in the Mixed event.
  • Tan, Gadalla, Hall, Cris Flores and Rudyy Vladyk finished among the top 10 in the Mixed Male event.
  • Barketey won the Mixed Shot Put (Female) event with a distance of 8.99m.
  • Attia and Jordan Hunter placed second and third in that event.
