CAMDEN, N.J. (2/8/25) – Three players scored in double-figures as the Kean University men's basketball team rallied to defeat Rutgers-Camden, 81-75 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Camden opened on an 8-0 run, propelled by back-to-back triples.
• The Cougars responded with nine points from Andrew Turco during a 13-1 run, which gave them a 13-9 lead.
• Justin Morton added five points as the Cougars pushed their lead to 22-13 with 10:05 to play.
• Camden responded with a 27-10 run to regain the lead at 40-30 with just under four minutes remaining.
• Justin Trusty-Smith notched 13 points during the run.
• Turco added another three points as Kean closed on a 9-4 run to trail 44-39 at the half.
• Camden opened the second stanza on a 15-6 run behind six points from Eric Benjamin to push their advantage to 59-47.
• Kean responded with a 23-11 run to regain the advantage at 70-68 with just under four minutes to play.
• Phil Brown Jr. tallied nine points during the run.
• The Cougars salted the game from the line, going 7-for-9 over the final three minutes.
