UNION, N.J. (3/15/25) – Nick Thorne and Dylan Johnson combined for 12 points as the Kean University men's lacrosse team extended their winning streak to seven games with a 14-8 victory over the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Anton Updale notched a first half hat-trick as the Cougars trailed 6-5 entering the half.
• Owen Behr notched four first half goals as the Mariners lead by as many as three.
• The second half proved to be a lot different as Kean finished the game on a 9-2 run, including hat-tricks from both Johnson and Thorne.
• Aarin Arbore notched two goals and an assist in the Cougars second half rally.
• Kean tallied eight straight in the second half to push their lead to 13-7 midway through the fourth.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Thorne totaled seven points on four goals and three assists.
• Johnson totaled five points on three goals and two assists, including six groundballs and three caused turnovers.
• Updale posted five points on four goals and one assist.
• Wilfredo Crispin went 13-for-17 with seven groundballs at the X.
