UNION, N.J. (3/18/25) – Chris Mitchell totaled 10 kills and six digs as the Kean University men's volleyball team dropped a non-conference contest to #1 NYU, 3-0 on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Mitchell notched four kills along with three apiece from both Aidan Flinn and Sean Murphy as the Cougars dropped set one, 25-17.
• After being deadlocked at 14, NYU closed the set on a 10-3 run.
• Mitchell posted another three kills as the Violets again broke a mid-set tie and pulled away with a 15-9 run to take set two.
• Mitchell tallied another three kills as NYU hit .379 in the final set.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Murphy posted seven kills and six digs.
• Flinn notched five kills and four digs.
• David Flores totaled 20 assists and seven digs.
