Men’s Lacrosse Extends Winning Streak to Four Games with Victory over Misericordia

UNION, N.J. (3/5/25) – Nick Thorne finished with six points on four goals and two assists as the Kean University men's lacrosse team extended their winning streak to four games with a 13-7 defeat of Misericordia University on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • After a scoreless first eight minutes, the Cougars notched three of the first four goals to open the game.
  • Thorne, Tommy Hamtil and Aarin Arbore all posted goals in the opening stanza.
  • After Misericordia evened the contest with back-to-back scores, the Cougars responded with three straight to hold a 6-3 lead with 5:01 remaining.
  • Thorne capped off his first half hat-trick with a goal at the 2:31 mark.
  • The Cougars spread the ball around in the third with goals by Thorne, Christian Updale, Aaron Boccio, Tyler Jarvis and Jacob Dvoor.
  • Kean took an 11-5 lead into the fourth.
  • The fourth quarter saw a fourth goal from Thorne and a score from Anton Updale.
