SCARNTON, Pa. (3/7/25) – Skyler Ray finished with five points on five goals as the Kean University women's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest to Marywood University, 14-10 on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• After Marywood opened with three straight goals to start, the Cougars were playing catch-up all afternoon.
• Emilie Schultz scored twice in the opening stanza, while Ray and Emily Javick each tallied a goal as the Cougars tallied by three at the break.
• The Pacers scored four straight in the third, which gave them an 11-4 lead entering the fourth.
• The Cougars rallied in the fourth behind four goals from Ray and two from Javick.
• Kean cut the deficit to three but ran out of time.  

INSIDE THE BOX

• Javick and Shannon Palen both totaled four points apiece.
• Samantha Keir recorded two assists.
• Savannah Olsson totaled six groundballs, three caused turnovers and three draw controls.
• Brooke Sztenderowicz made four saves in goal.
