Women’s Lacrosse Rolls Past Ramapo in Home Finale

UNION, N.J. (4/23/25) – Shannon Palen finished with seven points on five assists and two goals as the Kean University women's lacrosse team rolled to an 18-7 victory over Ramapo College in their New Jersey Athletic Conference home finale on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • Kean opened with a 7-2 run behind an Emilie Schultz hat-trick and two goals from Skyler Ray.
  • Palen notched a goal and two assists in the opening quarter.
  • In the second, Palen assisted on three of the four Cougar goals as Kean maintained an 11-5 lead into halftime.
  • In the third, the Cougars notched six straight goals, including a hat-trick from Grace Michielli.
  • Drew Coyle notched her first career goal with a free position shot in the quarter.
  • Coyle scored again in the fourth as Ramapo scored two consolation goals.

  • Ray totaled six points on three goals and three assists.
