Galloway, N.J. (4/24/25) – The Kean University baseball team had their 15 game win streak snapped with a 12-8 loss to host Stockton University on Thursday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Cougars (31-6) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in their first at-bat. Tyler Stone recorded an RBI single while John Chiusano and Brett Hillsheimer each had sac flies.
Stockton, though, responded with four runs in the same frame and took a lead they would not relinquish.
The Cougars pulled within one on one more occasion, but Stockton was able to tack on runs down the stretch to keep the cushion.
The teams combined for 29 hits.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Kyle Adorno was 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored while Hilsheimer was 3-for-3 with two RBI.
Dominic Masino, Dan Reistle and Stone each had two hits.

The two teams square off again tomorrow in Union.
