UNION, N.J. (4/5/25) – Nick Thorne and
Dylan Johnson combined for 13 points as the Kean University men's lacrosse team rallied to defeat Stockton University, 15-13 in the annual Connor's Game for Autism Awareness.
HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
- The Cougars opened the game on an 8-3 run, behind a hat-trick from Johnson and two goals from Thorne.
- Stockton responded with five straight goals to even the game at 8-8.
- The Ospreys took advantage after a two-minute non-releasable cross check penalty was called on Evan Wilkins.
- Stockton notched two man-up goals, along with two scores in a 30 second span.
- Jacob Dvoor stopped the run with a score at the 12:34 mark in the third.
- The Ospreys responded with three more, before Thorne notched back-to-back scores to end the third.
- Kean opened with three straight in the fourth, including a goal and an assist from Anton Updale.
- Stockton cut the deficit to two goals late but never got any closer.
