Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Stockton in Connor’s Game

UNION, N.J. (4/5/25) – Brooke Sztenderowicz made 10 saves as the Kean University women's lacrosse team dropped their New Jersey Athletic Conference opener to Stockton University, 15-5 in Connor's Game for Autism Awareness on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • After falling behind 2-0, the Cougars evened the game in the first with back-to-back scores from Emily Javick and Skyler Ray.
  • Ray added another goal in the second, but the Ospreys tallied six of the next seven goals for an 8-3 halftime lead.
  • Stockton tallied seven straight goals in the second half, before a late goal from Emilie Schultz stopped the run.
INSIDE THE BOX
  • Schultz and Ray both finished with two goals apiece.
  • Javick, Drew Coyle and Shannon Palen all tallied a point.
  • Coyle added five caused turnovers, three groundballs, three draw controls and three groundballs.
  • Jenn Koval collected three caused turnovers.
  • Sztenderowicz scooped up six groundballs.
  • A combined 18 cards were issued in the game as well.
