ITHACA, N.Y. (8/29/25) – Daniella Maresca made five saves as the Kean University field hockey team dropped their season opener to #20 Ithaca College, 3-0 on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The nationally ranked Bombers scored off a corner situation in the opening minute.
• The Cougars were held to just two shots in the first half and still trailed 1-0 at the break.
• Ithaca notched two more in the second half with scores in the 48^th and 51^st minutes.

INSIDE THE BOX

• The Bombers lead on shots (17-9), shots on goal (9-6), and penalty corners (11-5).
• Shannon Conroy took five shots, while Karli Pritchett recorded three shots.
