Women’s Soccer Plays to 1-1 Draw with Sarah Lawrence

YONKERS, N.Y. (9/10/25) – Carly Gleason scored the lone goal as the Kean University women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • The Gryphons struck early as a failed backline clearance led to a blast just inside the 18-yard box.
  • The Cougars answered in the 88th minute when Gleason beat the goalkeeper one-on-one after a Kaydence Oakley through ball.
INSIDE THE BOX
  • Sarah Lawernce held the edge on shots (18-16) and shots on goal (11-9).
  • The Cougars led on corner kicks (4-2).
  • Gleason recorded five shots.
  • Madison Gesualdo and Kaitlyn Siino combined for 10 saves.
