NORTHFIELD, Vt. (1/10/26) – The Kean University men's wrestling team opened 2026 competing in the duals hosted by Norwich University on Saturday. The Cougars dropped matches to Western New England, 51-3 and the host Cadets, 35-10.

Norwich 35, Kean 10

• Cole Pfuefer opened the scoring for the Cougars at 165 with a decision over Jonathan Neypes (4-1).
• George Travinsky followed Pfuefer with an 11-8 decision over Gabriel Moltumyr at 174.
• Cristian Ramos closed with a 19-6 major decision victory over Logan Goncalves at 184.  

WNE 51, Kean 3

• Pfuefer collected the only points of the match with a 5-4 decision over Colin Carlin at 165.
