GALLOWAY, N.J. (1/21/26) – Malachi Jeffers-Viera finished with 31 points as the Kean University men's basketball team dropped a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest to Stockton University, 83-70 on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The opening 10 minutes saw both sides trade buckets as the Cougars held on to a slim one-point lead.
• The Ospreys closed the half on a 24-12 run which pushed their lead to double figures just before halftime.
• The second half saw Jeffers-Viera pour in 19 points as Stockton remained in control the rest of the way.
• The Cougars made a late 11-3 run behind eight points from Jeffers-Viera, which cut the lead to six points at 75-69.
• Stockton closed with an 8-1 run, including going 4-for-4 from the line.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Deaundre Clarke totaled 13 points.
• Daniel Dextraze notched 13 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.
• Christian Garcia grabbed eight boards.
