JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1/31/26) – Braelen Crump finished with a career-high 23 points as the Kean University men's basketball team rolled to a 67-33 victory over New Jersey City University in New Jersey Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• After a back and forth opening 10 minutes, Kean closed the half on a 13-4 run to take a 10-point lead into the locker room.
• Crump posted six points during the run.
• The second half saw more of the same as Kean finished with a 39-15 run.
• The Gothic Knights only connected on four field goals in the second stanza.
• Kareem Irby and Crump combined for 36 points in the second half.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Irby finished with 17 points
• Daniel Dextraze totaled 14 points and eight rebounds.
• Christian Garcia recorded 15 rebounds and nine points.
• NJCU posted their lowest point output in the modern era since their 1941-42 matchup against Montclair State.
