UNION, N.J. (2/11/26) – Danny Pugliano totaled nine kills and posted a .533 hitting percentage as the Kean University men's volleyball team earned a 3-1 non-conference victory over Eastern University on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The Cougars blitzed the Eagles in the opening two sets with dominate 25-15 and 25-13 scores.
• Chris Mitchell and Danny Pugliano combined for 16 kills on 28 swings with no errors.
• The Eagles rebounded to take set three 25-22, holding the Cougars to an .028 hitting percentage.
• Eastern had three players with no errors in a set that saw seven ties and three lead changes.
• The final set saw Caden Krzyzak total four kills on seven swings and no errors.
• The Cougars hit .243 and used a 9-4 run to close out the match.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Mitchell totaled 11 kills and a .321 hitting percentage.
• Sean Murphy posted six kills and six digs.
• David Flores handed out 31 assists and recorded eight digs.
