UNION, N.J. (2/14/26) – Aarin Arbore and
Miguel Lontok combined for eight points as the Kean University men's lacrosse team earned a 13-10 non-conference victory over the Eastern University Eagles on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
- The Cougars and Eagles traded goals for most of the first half.
- Kean poured in three straight goals to end the half, including Tyler Scott scoring on a Jake Gruzas assist.
- After a trading goals for most of the third, Lontok scored twice in the final two minute of the quarter as the Cougars held a 10-8 lead entering the fourth.
- In the fourth, Aaron Boccio, Brandon Stuart and Arbore all notched a goal, which pushed Kean's led to four.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Arbore totaled four points on three goals and one assist.
- Lontok notched four goals.
- Scott recorded two scores.
- Christian Updale went 12-for-19 with nine groundballs at the X.
- Gruzas added seven caused turnovers and two groundballs.
- Tommy Egan totaled three groundballs and three caused turnovers.
- Gregory Reilly posted three caused turnovers and a groundball.
- Nick Paterno made 13 saves.
