NEW PALTZ, N.Y. (2/28/26) – Aarin Arbore finished with five points on four goals and one assist as a quick start lifted the Kean University men's lacrosse team to a 9-6 non-conference victory over the New Paltz Hawks on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• The Cougars opened with five straight goals in the first quarter, including Arbore scoring twice.
• After the Hawks finally got on the board in the second, Arbore completed a first half hat-trick with a goal with 4:37 remaining.
• In the third, Arbore and Miguel Lontok scored back-to-back goals which pushed Kean's lead to 8-2.
• New Paltz answered with back-to-back goals to end the third frame.
• Oliver Lugo notched the lone goal in the fourth as the Hawks got two goals back.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Arbore added two groundballs and two caused turnovers.
• Drew Tucker finished with two groundballs and two caused turnovers.
• Nick Paterno made 14 saves.
